Tula has over a decade of experience working with students between the ages of 3 and 18 in a wide range of educational settings. Her background has included supporting marginalized and underserved students, learners from low-income families, newcomers to Canada, and neurodivergent students with diverse learning needs.

She has provided academic support through home-school groups, private tutoring, not-for-profit organizations, and an outdoor education school.

Tula successfully owned and operated her own private tutoring business in Ottawa for two years.

Tula has experience tutoring all elementary and high school subjects. Her specialty is science, but she also has a gift for learning and teaching languages and speaks fluent French and intermediate Arabic.

She holds a degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Linguistics and a Master of Education specializing in Languages, Cultures, and Societies. Her graduate research focused on public education approaches to supporting students with hyperactivity disorders.
